In conjunction with Viva Dim Sum Delight 1st year anniversary, they are doing a promotion which is 10 Items of made to order delicious dim sum and noodles + free flow of tea at ONLY rm30 nett!

Let’s check out the scrumptious dim sum below!

Viva Superior Prawn Dumpling
Har Gao as its called in Cantonese, is actually prawn wrapped around a paper thin dumpling skin. As can be seen in the picture above, the dumpling skin was rather thick though.  The whole point of eating a prawn dumpling is to taste the prawn and not the dumpling skin. However, the prawns are crunchy..so it's still acceptable here.
Fresh shrimp dumplings will have prawns that are crunchy to the bite and have natural seafood sweetness in taste. A few fresh prawns are wrapped underneath. No bits of prawns but the whole prawn. The prawn dumplings here were one of the better ones I've eaten. Thumbs up!
Traditional Steamed Glutinous Rice
The glutinous rice was rather ordinary. Don't get me wrong, it tasted alright.

Chicken Feet with "Zhu Hao" sauce

Steamed Pork Ribs
It has tender meat with tasty flavour from the marinade.

Steamed vegetable with popular fillings such as fish, pork and prawn are the alternatives for lesser oil dishes.
Steamed Radish Cake
Lor Pak Kou is one of my favourites. It is steamed radish cake with dried shrimp. The radish cakes are steamed and pan-fried lightly with oil.
Stuffed vegetables with fish paste
You will find steamed white fish balls softer and the fried version which is brown in colour a little springy.
Xiao Loong Bao has always been my all time favorita. The meat is wrapped to well that none of the juices emitted will sip out. Xiao Loong Bao serves well with thinly sliced ginger in vineger. I would say this dish is another thumbs UP!
Let's see how you should eat a Xiao Loong Bao
The little bun which fit perfectly in the palm of my hand erupted to show the sweet, red BBQ pork which if made perfectly- isn’t dry or stringy but rather juicy and has a perfect crust so when you bite into it, there’s a perfect juxtaposition of soft bun and sweet savory pork. A steaming hot pau to warm a cold stomach early in the morning. It feels so good.

The red bean paste was very dark in color (almost black) with a smooth as silk texture.
I would prefer the dough to be softer and more fluffy.
Steamed bun with premium lotus paste n' egg yolk
流沙包 a.k.a Steamed Bun with butter cream n' salted egg yolk is definitely one of the MUST ORDER dish! Salted egg yolk custard combined with sweet crust..yumm!
Love the warm creamy runny custard, and taste exceptionally good when it combines with the salted egg yolk and the sweet exterior crust.
Can yeu see the creamy paste inside? *salivating*
drooling
The Chee Cheong Fun at this place comes with a choice of prawns, egg yolks and barbequed pork stuffed in its core. The amazing thing about this dish is that special soya sauce and the nice slightly spicy chilli paste. Topping the cheong fun with some of that chilli paste does wonders to this dish.

Hot Hong Kong Style Porridge
Scrumptious spread of Dim Sum
Now, we have all the fried items.

The egg tarts had a nice flaky pastry. However, the custard wasn't that soft and rich that melt in your mouth texture. They were average tarts. No harm trying 'em..:)
With crispy texture on the outer skin and soft chewy texture inside, this dessert is a good deal for those with sweet-tooth.
Shanghainese “Mistress” Bun 上海二奶
The interior is actually a creamy mixture of egg custard. Love the warm creamy runny custard, it tastes exceptionally good !
Salad prawns are actually prawns deep fried in batter. It's delicious when you dip it in mayonnaise. This dish was crispy on the outside with succulent tasting prawns in the inside.
Deep fried prawn n’ salad dumpling
Crispy dragon roll
Crispy bean curd skin n’ prawn roll
Another signature dish – crispy prawn n’ mango roll
Radish cake! I just love the texture of the smooth interior. drooling

Crispy Yam Puff – crispy outer layer with moist and warm pork filling. One of my favourite dish too! thumbs up
You can order noodles too.
Note that the noodles are very springy n' crispy and you may taste many fresh shrimps inside.
A pot of chinese tea is a must to go with the dim sum to ‘wash’ out the oil and fats from the meat and deep fried stuffs.
All in all, the siew mai, prawn dumplings and 流沙包stood out, most dishes were average. I'll definitely back for the流沙包! winking
