Think Macau and I start salivating over the thought of diving into the most heavenly egg tarts.
After 2 days in HK, we proceed our journey to Macau.
We took MTR -> Sheung Wan (上环信德中心港澳码头)turbo jet to Macau. |
When I reached Macau, I had my mind fixed on eating egg tarts for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Our first stop -
Margaret's Cafe |
we ordered portuguese egg tarts, blueberry cheesecake and a piece of carrot cake *i cant remember y i ordered the carrot cake! ROFL |
When I did finally lay my eager hands on the tarts, it felt like embracing a lover I had pined for all my life.
Rich and wobbly with patches of burnished brown custard encased in semi-sweet pastry that was light, flaky and crumbly, the sweet fragrance of the tart alone made me want to kiss the hands that created this scrumptious dessert.
