Springfree Trampoline Reviews

My daughter started asking for a trampoline in our backyard ever since she jumped on it at Christchurch Adventure Park and our friend’s house. After discussing with hubby, we decided to surprise her with a trampoline gift on her 4th birthday. So, I researched several brands on the market and even jumped on one in the display site.

After a lot of research into the different brands- from the lowest spec to the very high end, we finally decided to get a Springfree Trampoline for our daughter. We decided on a Medium Round Trampoline.

Reasons why I chose Springfree

Reducing the risk of injuries was always our top priority when it comes to a trampoline. Safety is so important and that is the reason why I chose Springfree Trampoline for my family.

Springfree Trampoline is the trampoline with the safest features and at the same time with top notch quality that is going to last. The fact that it does not have springs impressed me! That means my kids will not be exposed to the springs and I can minimise the risk of them getting injured. The enclosure/safety net is an important feature to me. With its FlexiNet, my kids will not land on the frame but instead they will be guided back to the centre of the mat. In addition, instead of hard metal poles, Springfree trampolines feature flexible net rods that are made of composite fibre glass.

And by the way, I love the monochrome design of Springfree Trampoline, it is so minimalist!

Not to forget about the founder of Springfree Trampoline. It was invented by a Kiwi dad who struggled to find a safe enough trampoline for his daughter. He wanted a trampoline that was safe without the traditional springs, so he invented one - a springless trampoline!

Springfree Trampoline features a unique design that eliminates 90% of product related injuries. It is also the only trampoline to continually meet the Australian Standards and the only trampoline to pass independent body Consumer NZ safety tests without major or minor failings, it is the only brand to be Consumer New Zealand recommended for 8 years running.

Furthermore, Springfree trampoline’s materials are designed to withstand harsh weather. That means I do not have to worry about the strong UV exposure in NZ.

Last but not least, it is the only company that offers 10 years warranty on all parts of the trampoline including the mat, springs/rods, safety met, frame, net poles and softedge.

Key Safety Features

FlexiNet
The fine weave on the FlexiNet helps cushion jumpers and guides them back to safety. This is the best material I’ve ever seen on a trampoline. It is designed to be resistant to tearing and does not fray.

Hidden Frame
The frame is beneath the jumping surface which means jumpers will never land on the frame of the trampoline.

Mat with SoftEdge
The uniqueness about the SoftEdge mat is that it is 30 times more shock absorbent than taps on the regular trampolines. It eliminates hard edges at the jumping surface while providing a soft and absorbed landing.

Flexible Enclosure Rods
They are very flexible as they are made of composite rod. Therefore, it is very flexible compared to the traditional metal poles.

No Springs
The composite rods that lie beneath the trampoline jumping surface gives peace of mind about the risk of hitting the springs. I don’t have to worry about my kid getting stuck between the springs. Also, I am truly impressed with the great soft non-jarring bounce and fun! It is due to the high-performance composite rods underneath the mat creating a smooth and extra bounce.
Installation process

Is easy to set up. The installer only took 45 minutes to set up the whole thing. If I were to install this trampoline, it might take more than hours to do so. The best installation method is to hire an installer, this will make sure your trampoline is installed properly.

Warranty

The best part of Springfree is that it provides 10 years warranty on every part of the trampoline.

Accessories

FlexrStep
A ladder makes it easier for kid to enter and exit from the trampoline safely. Very sturdy and flexible.

FlexrHoop
This soft flexible basketball hoop added a new element of excitement to our family. It gets me jumping too!

Shifting Wheels
Simply attach the wheels and move the trampoline when yard work needs to be done.

Sunshade
This is the best accessory for summer. I really love the shade sails on sunny days.

Which Size to Choose?

Springfree Trampoline comes in 3 shapes- square, oval and round. The official website has a helpful tool “Virtual Yard Assessment” that can help you to choose a suitable trampoline based on the size of your backyard. The Augmented Reality feature also allows you to visualise the trampoline in your backyard.

Fun Activities with Springfree

My daughter uses the trampoline every day. Besides jumping on the trampoline, I find my 4-year-old daughter enjoys imaginary play on it. Sometimes she sits in the centre and pretend she is the sun and asks us to be the surrounding planets. It is also a great place to read books together. I personally think that this trampoline creates a wonderful space for us, including my 8-month-old baby. We love to spend time in the trampoline whenever there is good weather. There are so many activities we can do inside the trampoline besides jumping on the mat.

We had fun doodling with chalks. The best part of it is the chalk comes straight off with a quick hose.
