Experience Japan - Kani Honke - Sapporo Must Eat

We were so hungry when we finished our ski session at Kiroro Ski Resort. Right after the trip, Kani-honke came across our mind as it is one of the famous King crab restaurant in Sapporo. It is definitely a must eat when you come to Sapporo.

Despite being their last guest of the day, we were warmly welcomed. We ordered Kitanomai which was suitable for two person.

Appetizer

Sashimi – Salmon and crab meat

The cold serve of appetizer and sashimi were so fresh and really light-weighted, not to mention that, their crab meat was so fresh and it dissolved right at the moment I put into my mouth.

These fried king crab and croquette were so crispy and juicy, I can feel the crab meat even they were deep fried.

Porridge with crab meat

This porridge was made using the leftover miso soup by the steamboat. It absorbed all kind of fantastic flavors, eggs and crab meat were added to it.

That’s the heavenly taste of their main course.

Dessert – Fruit yogurt

Finally, dessert was fruit yogurt – it was a fresh and sweet yogurt with rich combination of berries and fruits.

It was the best dining experience I ever had during my Japan travel. I hope you find it enjoyable too!
