Experience Japan - Mt Hakodate - Top 3 View In Japan
Mt Hakodate
is rated as top 3 best views in Japan. At first, we weren’t planned for Hakodate
trip but we decided to go for a short trip after we reviewed Hakodate’s place of
interest. Hakodate is a relatively small town as the tram is their only public transport
and the tram is functional across the main street of Hakodate.
After few
minutes’ walk from Jujigai tram station, we reached their ropeway station.
It costed us 1280 yen per person. It was considerably expensive but it was the
fastest option to reach the top of mountain.
During
winter, their operation might close an hour earlier. So, you have to be aware
of their last return trip.
At the top
of Mt Hakodate, you can overlook the curvy shape of the Hakodate downtown. The
best time to get the best of both daylight view and night view are before
sunset. We got our best timing to see both of them.
After the
scenic view, we went down for our dinner. The food on top of Mt Hakodate was
surprising bad. It was the one and only worst food I ever had in Japan. At
least we were compensated with the beautiful night view.
After that,
we went down the hill to continue our journey. As we weren’t
satisfied with the food, we had our supper at Lucky Perriot. It was really
worth a try.
