Delicious @ Straits Quay

It’s Ms. Z's first time being there, the decoration from the outside is simple and elegant. It is hard to be spotted if you come for the first time. However, it doesn’t bother her as the overall designs are complete and feel comfortable to her. 

There is a different seating place between main course and dessert/beverages. You are allowed to sit on the couch if you are here for desserts and beverages.

Outdoor seat for someone who’s looking for sea-breeze + sea view sensation! :D

The duck confit spaghetti with sundried tomatoes and  coriander.(RM 24.90)

The dessert is free for the delieast or pasta order, however the dessert is not on our own choice. 

Aw…! I would prefer if we get to choose!

The free dessert we get is the after 8 chocolate mint cupcake. It has a creamy mint on top of the chocolate cake. The mint tasted over sweet, but the chocolate cake is nice as it tasted warm inside and doesn’t feel that bad overall. 

After 8 Chocolate Mint CupCake (RM 6.90) – Nice to see nice to touch, once eaten....(pls complete d sentence yurself):p

It served a lot of desserts here, however Ms. Z doesn’t have enough stomach space to fill in all of those :(

Overall view of the cakes (included mango cheese cake, tiramisu(my favorite), coconut cake with fresh coconut filling & covered with hawaiian coconut shavings).Feel like bringing back all of those and make 'em my breakfast + teatime. 

Another temptation – Strawberry Shortcake (RM10.90)

Berrillicious Chocolate Pavlova (RM 12.90) – Planned to have this, but was overwhelmed by the after 8 mintchoc cupcake. 

Marmalade Bread & Butter Pudding with Custard Sauce (RM10.90)

Butter Cupcakes (RM6.90 for a set of 3) – fancy colorrrrsssss!

Another dessert we ordered that have high review among all, the macadamia cheesecake topped with crunchy macadamia nut brittle and caramel (RM13.90)

The macadamia nut is coated with a “high density” of caramel sugar. That's too sweet for me!!! Ms. Z personally thinks that it would be better if the nuts preserved its natural freshness flavor.  

Last but definitely not least, some photo sessions at the outdoor seats of Delicious :)

Ms. Z would like to have a second visit to have a bite on the other “delicious” delicious meals and desserts. By that time, she wished she could simply spell out the name of the restaurant when she was craving for their cuisine.

Rating:

Food : 8.5/10

Beverage: - (ice water, no comment added)

Service: - 7/10 (need to be more alert on customer needs, example, empty plates, water refill, side order, dessert serving)

Ambience : - 8/10, (semi open kitchen do the tricks for safe food measures and completeness of overall decoration that fitted into one single theme, white and turquoise).

Price : 7/10 – (Considering the lowest among food, service and ambience, we pay for all of those right? So be it)

Overall : -  A- (Almost 5 stars service, I still don’t fully satisfy tho)
